Wagyu
The New Zealand way

Born from a spirit of innovation and collaboration. Working with the very best farmers in the very best environments to create something extraordinary: F1 Wagyu, raised on New Zealand’s lush pastures, grain-finished in purpose-built eco-shelters

Born from innovation
and collaboration.

We’re creating something special. Our breeding program gives new life to New Zealand's dairy cattle, crossing them with elite Fullblood Wagyu genetics through artificial insemination.

Calves are born and pasture-raised for 20 months across Canterbury, Otago, Southland, then grain-finished for 200 days at Wydeacres Wagyu Farm in Kirwee, Canterbury.

The whole chain runs on one island: a network of proven breeders, rearers and graziers, backed by the New Zealand FernMark, the Government's official country-of-origin accreditation (Licence No. 100671).

At Wydeacres Wagyu Farm in Canterbury, our purpose-built eco-shelters prioritise animal welfare and environmental stewardship, delivering zero discharge to land or groundwater while reducing on-farm nitrogen losses. Backed by independent assurance including New Zealand Farm Assurance Program membership and AUS-MEAT certification, we farm responsibly with feed sourced from non-deforested land and cattle that are HGP free.

Sustainability is built into our business.
